We have been breeding Rat Terriers before the the AKC recognized them.
They are family dogs, working dogs, watch dogs, farm dogs, emotional support dogs and compete in barn hunts as well as other athletic competitions. With 20yrs of experience, we guarantee your puppy's health and that it will not have any genetic diseases. Our dogs are low maintanence. They are raised in pristine conditions 24/7. They are similar to Jack Russells, Boston terriers, toy fox and min pins in size. Rat Terriers have big dog characteristics.
While rescues are an option, most are from puppy mills and everyday people who randomly breed or let their dogs roam. Those are the dogs that fill up rescues and these practices must be stopped. Many of these dogs have illnesses and the new owners are left with extensive veterinarian bills they cannot afford. We strive to breed healthy dogs with the help of technology, experienced breeders and veterinarians.

We have Rat Terrier puppies for sale in TN. We have preserved their original heritage for 30yrs. Most breeders do not have this type of history. We have high quality dogs. We have 9 generation's of healthy high quality dogs. We have sold over 400 healthy puppies. Our dog's lines have been tested and are PLL clear (Eye disease). Our dogs do not have strange allergies or skin diseases and have pure white teeth. We do not have time to show our dogs' but they are all "our" champions in health and temperament.We breed miniature and standard type A rat terriers. Some are stockier than others and have more of a hunting (prey) drive than others since they have Decker Rat Terrier in their ancestry. Show breeders will sell you left overs if you are not showing. We focus on breeding a good looking healthy dog for you. Shopping for the best price may cost you more in vet visits in the long run. Dog registry awareness. Major costs of sick puppies and genetic diseases happen late in life. Online websites that sell more than two breeds are just extensions of puppy stores or brokers posing as breeders. We use Coefficient Calculations dogs to further protect our puppies from the risk of genetic health illnesses. We carefully study which pairs of our dogs to breed. DNA tests of our puppies have shown this.While it is good to test for the 6 most common; tracking the health over a long period of time is of most importance. Our adult dogs are on the bottom of this page. We have over 400 happy owners, keep in contact with many of them from all over the United States, spanning over 20yrs. Many people have up 2,3 and 4 of our dogs.
I am happy to say that I have been the Vice president of the National Rat Terrier Association since 2014 helping the association to be the best Rat Terrier registry.

Our puppies have been taught the basic understanding of the words "No", "Come Here", "Good dog", "Do you want water?", "Do you want to eat?", "Do you want to go out?", "Wait" and "Goodnight". They are also paper trained. Some say rat terriers are a best-kept secret. They are fun loving, loyal and intelligent dogs and are easily trained. They are always ready to play, love attention and can be very funny. They can get spurts of energy we call "Zoomies", then lay around and watch TV with you. They make loving companions.
Carrie Underwood, Shirley MacLain, and Lou Reed & Laurrie Anderson (Contacted us for a movie) are among Rat Terrier owners. We were also contacted by Animal planet for a video "Too Cute" for a segment on their show.
